The 2023 Chrysler 300C
There will be a mere 2000+ production pieces of this dinosaur fitted with a new-for-the-C 6.4L 485hp HEMI V8. So in some sense, ownership is a rarified club. The best year for the 300 seems to have been 2005. Since then it’s been all downhill save for 2012 where a few more diehards took notice. Why not let it RIP?
Still, we hope Chrysler sells every single one of these “poor man’s Bentley” grade Cs, for even more than the $55K MSRP come 1yr from now when they’re made available. Then, go defunct. Waiting a full year for bad leather and meh driving aesthetics on a decidedly outdated platform is a tragedy to start with. Just as the Chrysler Town & Country was neither town nor country, and the Pacifica is just simply horrible, the 300 is well…why?
It’s 2022: Save the cows, give the 6.4L V8s to RAM, call it a wash. Go down in history as the Daimler American-ex that just didn’t cut it. Stellantis who?
