**Driving The News: **In late 2021, Toyota announced 30 electric vehicle models by the year 2030, a move that clears a path for Toyota to overtake all electric vehicle sales. On the other hand, GM has committed to transition to electric vehicles by 2035, however it isn’t clear how many models will be offered.
